Bihar Board topper says political science is about cooking, will undergo review exam
Recently, Bihar’s Educational system has been in news for lots of mass cheating. Last year videos went viral where parent’s were helping their children in cheating during exams.
The BSEB(Bihar School Examination Board) has put on hold the results of Arts topper Ruby Ray and Science topper Saurabh Sreshtha. The Bihar board has announced a review exam for both the toppers on June 3.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has ordered a probe into the results of toppers of intermediate exams a couple of days after Aaj Tak showed a report highlighting their poor knowledge about the subjects they had excelled in.
The BSEB has put on hold the results of Arts topper Ruby Ray and Science topper Saurabh Sreshtha. The board has announced a review exam for both of them on June 3.
The Aaj Tak video report, which has gone viral now, has raised serious questions over the Bihar government’s education system. State Education Minister Ashok Chaudhury has admitted the lapse.
Choudhury has assured a swift probe into the issue and said the government will take strict action against those responsible.

Hajipur’s Ruby Ray has scored 444 out of 500 marks in her intermediate exams but she was clueless when Aaj Tak asked some basic questions about her core subjects.
“Prodigal (read political) science is about cooking ,” she said when asked what political science is all about.
Ruby isn’t the only one here. Science topper Saurabh Shrestha, who scored 485 out of 500 marks, and couldn’t answer few simple questions of chemistry.
Replying to one of the question he said “Most reactive element in the periodic table is aluminium”.
