The Queen’s Bath is one of the favorite summertime attractions. It is located on the island of Kauaʻi in the Priceville town, Hawaii. Roughly the size of a large swimming pool, the Queen’s Bath is a natural tide pool with some fish and surrounded by igneous rock, water spills over the lava rocks to refresh the pool.
Although the scenery and bath are a pleasant excursion, like many ocean attractions on Kauai the area should be approached with caution. The pool is a sinkhole surrounded by igneous rock. There are several incidents of people drowning or being swept off the rocks. Although, the views from Queen’s Bath are incredible swimming is not recommended for elderly people and children. The biggest danger at the Queen’s Bath is getting pulled into the ocean while watching big surf. The video below explains everything quite easily.
